Before the economic globalization, normal people couldn't have access to weapons as there were no specific ways to contact weapon dealers. However, nowadays, terrorist groups like Al Aqsa can purchase any weapons they want just with a phone call. Economic globalization made them stronger by allowing access to weapons easily. Political globalization has affected Al-Aqsa the most among other areas of globalizations. Since the development of political globalization, the way of approaching other nations have changed significantly. The ultimate purposes and approaches of Al-Aqsa have changed following the political globalization. For example, they have changed target to public places that are considered to be an important place for a specific nation. So, instead of just killing people anywhere, they attack the symbol of a city or a country. (eg. 6star hotel in India)
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades began as a group that attacked civilians as part of their extreme movements, but as the group became older, they began running joint forces to keep control in the Gaza strip. For instance, they began training teenager soldiers for suicide bomb missions as teenagers are often less suspicious in public.
Socially, this group has become better known through their public statements, and increased amounts of attacks on the civilians. When they were just created and began to attack other communities, they did not used public media much and only concentrated on passing their ideas through attacks. However, after the globalization in the 21st century, they began to use public media such as TV news to broadcast their ultimate goals and requests.
